The 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport has been put through the paces in the country of  Wales. We decided to build a team and take these vehicles for a weekend of dirt muck and 4x4 expertise to see how good they actually perform on hills of the Brecon beacons. John was the first out the team to test the new 4x4 special programmes that the range rover has to offer with its off road differential optional extra from land rover dealers. Firstly we need to add that the tyres were 20 inch scorpions that are recommended from the Land Rover dealer however they are not so much an off road tyre but more of an on road tyre for the highway. The Range Rover Sport seemed to handle very well especially in ruts and muddy terrain we used the 4.2 supercharged model and if anything seemed very over powering when hitting the slippery slopes. The diesel model 3.6 V8 seemed perfect for the power to command ratio.  If you would like to hire a 4x4 Range Rover within Wales visit our new depot offering many options for Range Rover Hire in Wales. Range Rover Sport was given a 7 out of 10 on the off-road experience.
